In a bold move to harness the capabilities of a newly acquired e-commerce entity, our mission at FedEx was to transform this investment into a robust SaaS encompassing analytics, e-commerce, logistics and returns solution. This platform is designed not only to provide a delightful shopping experience to consumers but also to empower businesses.
Project Spark
Project Spark represents a holistic e-commerce solution. On the consumers' side, it delivers a delightful shopping experience for the products they love, and yet on the merchant side, it amalgamates shipping and returns data within a single, unified platform. This initiative offers merchants in-depth analytics for their operations. Additionally, it provides a one-stop integrated white-label branding experience for shipping and returns.
Project Goal
Our vision for Project Spark was to transform FedEx's investment in Shoprunner into a cutting-edge B2B/B2C SaaS platform. This platform is designed to provide businesses with critical insights into ROI, and margins accessible at their fingertips, thereby fostering an environment for growth and efficiency.
Team Dynamics
This transformative project was spearheaded by a dedicated team consisting of Lead Designers, Senior Designers, multiple stakeholders, and comprehensive Design and Development teams.
My role
I played a pivotal role in Project Spark, which was divided into two main workstreams, each supported by distinct design and development teams. My responsibilities spanned across:

Innovative Design Leadership: Spearheading brainstorming initiatives, enhancing user experience (UX) and user interaction (UI), and developing user flow and task charts.

Strategic User Engagement: Designing user management systems, site maps, and creating responsive UI/UX designs for both mobile and desktop platforms.

Prototype and Quality Assurance: Crafting prototypes for user testing, conducting quality assurance, and making continuous UI/UX improvements.
